James Raphael 52nd Squad. Remounts

Hi All.

I wondered if any one may have any information about above person
who died on the 1st August 1918 as a result of an accident whilst on duty.

Enlisted: Market Harborough
Resident: Abertillery, Monmouthshire
Died 01/08/18; Home

He moved around a bit by the looks of it.  :D

He appears to be one of several casualties that enlisted at Market Harborough and according to Kent Fallen, there was a Remount Depot there. Page 11 of the link below.

I thought Raphael was a middle name rather than a Surname, weird.

Anyway here is his stone in M.H. Cemetery.
