There appears to no Cyril Oxford on the CWGC....If he was missing, he must have been found! ;D

There are certainly no Oxfords which would have been killed around Arnhem, either Op Market, or Op Garden. :o

Which "honour roll" are you talking about that is is on?

Arnhem is in Holland, and not Italy....And took place in Sept 1944

The "Bridge Too Far" Op, was Op "Market Garden" as I mentioned before...There was NO Op Arnhem...

I think it may be best if you scan the list in and we can look at it... ;)

If you look on CWGC there are NO Cyril Oxfords AT ALL!! ;D

There is a HAROLD Oxford, Sgt RAC KIA Italy in AUG 1944, but nothing else that fits...

http://www.cwgc.org/search/SearchResults.aspx?surname=oxford&initials=&war=2&yearfrom=1939&yearto=1947&force=&nationality=6&send.x=36&send.y=16

Actually, there is no Sheffield in the Airborne units KIA either, on CWGC...

http://www.cwgc.org/search/SearchResults.aspx?surname=sheffield&initials=&war=2&yearfrom=1939&yearto=1947&force=Army&nationality=6&send.x=14&send.y=9

VERY odd...

Pse do scan the page, put a photograph up that we can read!
