Please note that you may not post your email address on Rootschat.
If you are looking for any particular information on Boals in Co. Down you need to provide more details (names, dates, etc.) in your post and tell us exactly what you are looking for and where you've already searched.

If I understand correctly, you are searching for a Francis Boal born 1768? died 1851? and would like details on his parents or siblings?
Since civil registration in Ireland started in 1864 for most records (1845 for non-Catholic marriages) them you need to search for church records, if they exist. To do so you need to know the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland).
Lots of Boal references here in case you haven't seen this site:

and links to other sites/sources in Co. Down Resources board:

John girl,

Thanks  Whats SPAM  lol!!

Thats what the filters delete.. So never see it anyway...
They can post me as much as they like...

I just want to contact fellow Boal researchers.. I represent a consortium of 25 people whom have done a lot of work. There must be more around, thats all I am after.

AG,

Thats correct , and I talk to Ros direct.
I am going to have about 100 more Boal entries added. At this stage I have built tree from Francis down.. Its speads far and wide. However, to build it more I need contact with fellow researchers , that is what I am after.
I have the contacts and have looked quite hard.
I know Francis was at Gilnakirk P in 1798 Granshaw P 1800-1805 & Ballyblack P 1810- Children baptised at Ballyblack , Gilnakirk no use no records that far back.

He was strongly Presb. I am looking for a Family Bible that cousins say exist, and would be in Ireland still..
May be the only way to link families up earlier than 1760.
