Who is Frank Daykin Holbrook

I am looking for some help if possible.
I recently obtained the household record for some direct family members from the 1911 Census - g g grandparents.
Listed on this record was Frank Daykin Holbrook - age 2 - grandson of Samuel Bedford (father of gg grandmother Frances Sarah Bedford).
My confusion - who is Frank? There are no other Daykin family members that I am aware of who married into the Bedford family, and I have never found any mention of the surname Holbrook.
I have attached a copy of the transcript in case that helps.

Hi Ronlynn,

when you say there are no other Daykin family members who married into the family- do you mean that there are some Daykins connected to you or have you not heard that name either? I'm just trying to see if there are any suitable people.

PS the easiest thing would be to get the birth certificate but you know how we love to dig and delve

daykin is my maiden name - herbert daykin is my gg grandfather, he married frances sarah (nee bedford) in 1884.

their children - alfred ( my g grandfather), jessie and francis mary. francis mary is listed in the 1911 census as samuel's grand-daughter, and frank is listed as his grand-son

in all my research and records - no mention of holbrook.
also herbert only had brothers

Sorry, I can't help, I am just bookmarking and notifying you of a remote interest as my grandmothers name was Daykin and I also originate from Rotherham/ Barnsley - S'th Yorkshire; so It is possible that something sooner or later may ring a bell.

Well it does look a puzzle and the connection you would think would be through the Bedfords rather than the Daykins.
It looks as though you will have to get the certificate.
Frances looks to have two other children from her Butterworth marriage although they aren't together on the census  and they don't take on the name Daykin.
The only thing I could think is that Frances is the mother although is nearly fifty and particularly as the child is called Frank  
(just an idea)

Not sure how this would help you, but Frank Daykin Houlbrook bn 15 Sept 1908 died Feb 1995 in Doncaster
