Mary HURRION born 1827 Registration district could be Maidstone.

Do you know of her parents or any siblings?  There are a number of Hurrions in the Tonbridge area of Kent, but no Mary.

I have found the listing under a website which I don't have access to. She is not with her parents - she is possibly a servant in 1841. The site which lists her has the surname correctly spelt as Hurrion and christian name as Mary. Other sites may have the surname transcribed incorrectly. If it is not easy to find don't worry too much and I will have a look at the library when I go next.

Mary HURRION, aged 14 and born in Kent was a female servant in the household of Richard HOLMES (a chinaman) and his wife Isabella and family, living at High Street, Maidstone.

Error sent in to the "other" site who had it transcribed as Harrison of course!

Just as a thought - I think it was Richard's occupation rather than nationality that was a chinaman  ;D
