My great grandfather was Richard Cardiff circa 1875 born Ireland, we think Wexford, his father was also Richard.
Richard Cardiff jn came to Maesteg South Wales with his brother Will and married Rosa Ann Eaton.

Any info would be fab

The free 1911 census index shows him b 1877 and if you put Wexford as his birthplace you get a match

I think they may have a son William R T Cardiff b 1910

The following IGI entries seem too coincidental so did you get his fathers name from the 1909 marriage cert?
