trying to trace family in scotland this is what i have so far

David paterson Born uplamoor neilston around 1820, he was a gardner  married a sarah whiteburn

there children

james paterson born 1854 in neilston Renfrewshire, james married a mary gallacher on the 30th
December 1873 neilston i think.

There children were

james paterson born  neilston 1874
Ellen paterson 1880
David paterson 1877 lugton
Andrew paterson 1883 lugton

James patersonborn 1874 married a mary wilson  born 1883from emmanual dumbartonshire
they married on the 23rd july 1900 at st ninians catholic church paisley.

there children were

james paterson born august 1900 in paisley

Ellen paterson 1902 neilston

Andrew paterson born 1905 neilston

john paterson born around 1907 neilston or paisley

is there anyone connected

if you are still in the loop I have a Jean Paterson born 1716 Pencaitland who married Thomas Naysmith 1743 in Ormiston.
Any connection to your lot?

17 August 1806 to David Paterson & Janet MacMaster  Old/West Greenock, Renfrew
29 April 1810 to Robert Paterson & Agnes Dun  Paisley, Renfrew
21 January 1811 to David Paterson & Agnes White  Abbey, Renfrew
20 June 1818 to James Paterson & Helen White  Old/West Greenock, Renfrew

I wonder could Sarah's last name be White and not Whiteburn.
Found one birth to David & Sarah White- Agnes born 16 April 1850

1 birth to James & Mary Gallacher- James born 9 Nov 1881 Airdrie, Lanark

For births after 1855, there are so many Patersons that you would have to try to narrow things down.
Andrew son of James Paterson & Mary Gallacher born 29 July 1882 Neilston, Renfrew

Hi Jack,

I am very sorry but your reply to Nettie has bounced back to us, it looks like she has stopped using her email address within the last 12 months.

I did a little search with the information given but sadly no sign of her on this occasion, in a lot of cases I do manage do find lost RootsChatters.

We do check members email addresses, so as long as there is no note in the profile it is still very much worth replying as they will be current within 12 months.
