Edward Jennings - Updated
« on: Wednesday 23 September 09 19:45 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to find the cause of death of Edward Jennings, Born 1929 Seaforde, County Down, died 1933 County Down.

His sister remembers him being taken off to hospital and not coming back. I know I'll need to get the death certificate, but is it possible with the information I have available?

I live in Hampshire, so visiting the GRONI isn't possible.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Bob.

His parents were Hugh Jennings and Margaret Shaw. From the LDS Pilot site, it looks like they were married in 1919, registered at Downpatrick.

Civil Marriage of Hugh Jennings and margaret Shaw on 15th May 1919  at  Downpatrick Civil Registrars Office.

You dont need to visit GRONI to get the death certificate details. Go to http://www.groni.gov.uk/index/order_certificates.htm

Hi Bob, I came across your post last night, regarding my great uncle Edward! His brother John Robert Jennings (or Jack as he was known to many) was my grandfather! Edward passed away as a child from TB! Annie, grandads sister had told my auntie Jackie this!
I hope this helps!
