Hi Caroline,Good to hear from you,funnily enough i have just recentley found out through another rootsweb member all about Thomas amd Rejoice and
Joseph Henry.What exactley are you stuck on?Its a bit late now but if you tell me what you want to know i will help you in any way i can.In return you can help me with the Timms family as all i have is that Annie Elizabeth(i have her as Elizabeth Annie)married a Ted Timms and they had 2 sons Harry and Ted.

Hi Steph,Thank you so much for your info,Have come across a few of them
in family search,still trying to work out where they all fit in to my tree.The
name Spirit as i know it has so many variations over the years like Spurrett,
Spurritt etc., and now Spurrier,it gets confusing.

Hi I have been doing the Dargue tree,I got really stuck between Thomas Dargue and John his father
as you might know Thomas married Jane Spuritt ( this is how it is spelt on the marriage certificate )
It is dated 1840 at Hexham parish church,which I think is the Abby.Her father Robert Spuritt  in the Hexham militia a Gardsman.

I an sorry Lynne ,the writing on the marriage certificate is quite difficult to read.It might be disappointing but on deeper scrutinising it is aether Gardesman. Or Gardener so on reflection Gardener seems more reasonable.

Yes based at Hexham moved to Cornwall where Jane was born then moved back to Hexham

floating around ancestry,but need to no for sure,in order to follow the line properley.Never

Susanna Parkhill born Northumberland 1782. Died  Hexham 1854
