1841 census village index
« on: Monday 07 March 05 13:01 GMT (UK) »
I have part of the 1841 wiltshire census. Does anyone know of a place index for it, particularly something which will help me locate some of the smaller villages.

Thanks,

Pete

Hi Mary,

Thanks for your message. I am not looking for anywhere in particular. It is just that when doing lookups for people on the disc I have, people often refer to really small places which aren't in the main index. To save myself the trouble of trawling through lots of records, I was rather hoping there would be an index I could use.

All the best,

Pete
