Alice Maud Palmer

I understand that my grandmother Alice Maud Palmer  (dob) 1893) was roller skating champion when she was about 18 (1905).  Does anyone if I can verify this anywhere?  Many thanks.

No I don't think that is the right one.  My Alice Palmer lived in Ferndale, in Rhondda.

I dont think Alice would be 18yrs old in 1905. I can see her on 1901 census aged 8yrs so in 1905 she would have been 12yrs.
I can see her at home aged 18yrs as a house keeper in 1911 no mention of skating,

I don't know if I've been in touch before but Alice Maud was my grandaunt. I've been told about her being the Welsh roller-skate champion too.
