In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth

Hi Sylvia,

Good word that covers all if we get things wrongs (Covers one) Ie finish a post or put it in your profile page (where you put your family reseach names at the bottom of your posts) Something like. All my pre 1837 judgment is based only on Epistemology of limit info of the times. (Or similar wording)

I did one Joseph son of Mary Pennington 1790 and the other
Joseph bapt 1789 son of Benjamin Pennington Bolton le moors and where everything pointed this Joseph as the right one being family names-We had Wills -overseers accounts and a few more pointers even found his Dads grave. Great

I went back to Bolton to take some photos of Benny's grave! and went for a Pee at the back of the church! Wham! ho Sh*T! There was Joseph died 1819 the one in Huddersfield died 1840 - thus was Joseph of Mary bapt 1790

It did two thngs this 1819 burial? it shattered our research but proved the real bap of Joseph 1790. Thus Epistemology covers a big blunder by of limited info guessing.

Theres another word that covers guessing in posh terms (professors) ........... Apotheoses
