Dear Rebecca,
Thank you for searching. This appears to be John Musc?tt. Is his father not with them?

Thanks again and BTW, sorry for the delay in my reply as I've been on holiday for the past two weeks.

Hi,

I've had another look and Johns father does not seem to be at the house that evening ..... do you know what his fathers name was? If so, I'll have a look and see where he was.

Here are the details of the 1871 census:

Source information:    RG10/3183
Registration district:    Rugby
Sub-registration district:    Rugby
ED, institution, or vessel:    9

Page:    12

Civil parish:    Newbold on Avon
County/Island:    Warwickshire
Country:    England

Regards,
Rebecca

Rebecca,
I'm not 100% sure what his father was named, but I would take an educated guess that he was named John as well. My reasoning for this is that the younger John was Eliza and her husband's eldest son so he may have been named after his father. Also, The younger John named his only son and final child John (John Harry). Also, his second daughter was named Eliza. His other two were Ada and Selina, the latter being my Great Grandmother.

Hi,

The only other John I can find that was Warwickshire born is:

John Musket
40
Coventry, Wiltshire, England
Boarder
Coppenhall Monks
Cheshire

I can't say that think its the right one though. ???

I don't suppose you have any idea where his father may have been born?

I'll have another look, and will let you know if I come up with anything.

Here is a copy of the census with his family on anyway.

Regards,
Rebecca
