Happy New Year Grantley
Difficult as it is so tiny!
'Egress & Regress', (although letter wise cannot read the latter as such) as in going out & coming in - as in the free access which follows!
 Maybe 'Deconton' or 'Decowton', followed by '& west'. Couldn't quite make out if there is a line above the word,but can't fit a vowel in anywhere!
I'll have another go later

Thankyou Hephzibah and I hope you have a good new year.

It is all so obvious when someone else points it out.

Attached is a larger version of;
[eque]lly devided ?inerwhort? the ?med?
[Assi]gnes for ever, Item I give to
peter ?Docowomg? west & Abuting

the sentence reads “to be equelly devided ?inerwhort? the ?med? with free Egrese [Egress] & Regrane [Regress] & free passage one by another”

Hi Grantley and Hephzibar,

I think the word after "egress and..."  is "regrade". I have an old dictionary which gives that as having the same meaning as "regress".

Thankyou Roger,

The terminology of Egress & Regress is the main part. Something that I hadn’t come across, before. The actual word regress may have been spelt in this document as “regrace” with a squiggle above the “e”.

Attached are larger versions of the last bit;
downe the ?medst? ?throm? the ?.....?
Land in stonnold foold with the ?apor....? [appurtenances]”

note: this document uses 2 versions of the “h”

The other is;
Abuting upone thorne lordship:
?drone? to thorne lordship; Item

the sentence reads similar to the first segment “to be equally devided downe the ?medst? ?throm? the ?.....? ?drone? to thorne lordship;”
