Birth/bap look up please for Bowenbank

Please would some kind person see if they can find a bap/birth for Mary Bowenbank about 1795 at Crosby Garret.   Many Thanks. gladys1.  :)

It isn't Crosby Garrett, but it might still work for you.

The only snag with that one is that the two places are at opposite ends of the county.  Is there any other connection with the Witherslack area?

Hello Andrea, i haven`t a clue but you know them days they could be born in one end of the country and bap in another which i found one years ago when looking for me Jacques this one wasn`t mine but the child was born in London and bap in Longbenton Northumberland so i am taking the one JGardia sent me.  Regards Gladys :)

Hi Gladys
If that is your rationale why not choose the one in Ormside in 1794 parents John Bowerbank and Elizabeth Dalton?  That is at least in East Ward as Crosby Garrett is.  Then of course there are all the parishes which are not on the IGI.
Where does your idea of her birth date and surname as BoweNbank come from?  Do her children's names fit with either couple?

Hi Andrea, am mixed up now but the childrens names are Bowerbank exept for Mary which is Bowenbank and they could mean the same as it depended on the person saying their name. I have a John son, William and Mary,  there might be more children but i haven`t looked on that family for ages with seeing to others :)  I will have to have a look on the IGIs`but you say not all names are on there, boo hoo. Me again Andrea, i have just looked on Hugh Wallis IGIs Mary Bowerbank not Bowenbank so i made that mistake in her name. Gladys. :)

I am confused now!  Was her married name Bowerbank or did she have illegitimate children?
