Some information on Page Bird, just to throw a spanner in the works
He was born in 1884 in Knighton district, SHROPSHIRE. Ref 11b 130.
His parents were Page Bird and Harriet Ann Powes or Powis and they were married in 1883 Ludlow district, Shropshire. Ref 6a 1181.
I can't find Page on the 1891 census, but on the 1901 census he pops up in London.
1901 census: Page Bird age 17, Soldier (driver). No 1 Depot, Royal Field Artillery, Woolwich Barracks. Place of birth - Middlesex, London.
Page and Martha married in 1907 in Dewsbury district, West Yorkshire.
1911 Census:
Vesper Place, High Street, Morley.
Page Bird, age 27. Coal Miner. Married 4 years. Place of birth - Knighton, Shropshire.
Martha Bird, age 23. Place of birth - Greasborough, Yorkshire.
Joseph Bird, age 3 (son), Place of birth - Morley, Yorkshire.
John Bird, age 9 months (son), Place of birth - Morley, Yorkshire.
Henry Mitchell, age 61 (widower) Boarder, Colliery Labourer (surface). Place of birth - Greasborough, Yorkshire.
Page Bird's parents were:
Father - Page Bird, born 1855 in Knighton district, Shropshire. Ref 11b 172.
Mother - Harriet Ann Powes or Powis, possibly born in Herefordshire in 1851.

James Bird died in 1873 in Knighton, age 75. Jane died in 1887 in Knighton, age 84.
