I think DUNSTALL is quite likely - FreeBMD shows it to be most common in Kent and Sussex - a dozen or two "events" each year.  Didn't Edward come from Sussex?

I note a David DUNSTALL married in Sculcoates/Hull in 1845
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Hello again Carol

This could explain the “Capes” connection

IGI (Extracted record)
Holy Trinity, Kingston Upon Hull
Christening 28 October 1846
Betsey Capes Branton Branton
Father Thomas Capes Branton
Mother Mary Ann

(Haven't found what happened to Betsey)

Per various census records it seems that Thomas Capes Branton (born 1849) may have remained in Hull. Possibly married Emma Fields 1872. Had several children including Thomas Capes Branton born 1873. Thomas Senior may have died 1901 aged 52 (death registered in Hull district)

Ivan
