Hello again Yvonne,

I'm still wondering if you'd like to get in touch again,  maybe we can swap some family history and learn a bit more about our ancestors.

Cheers

Barbara.

Hello Yvonne,

I'm writing this message in the hope that you may still look on this site from time to time because I have been able to find out a little more about what happened to your Gt Grandmother Fanny Humphreys, that caused her death in 1900.

I have no way to contact you other than through Rootschat so please post on this board if you wish to get in touch.

Regards

Barbara.

Hi Barbara

Sorry I have not replied before have not been looking into family history for sometime have been promising myself a trip to Shropshire Archives but have not managed to get there yet.

I have a marriage certificate for Fanny Jones and John Humphreys, they got married on the 9th September 1888 (I also got married on the 9th September, which is also my birthdate)  Fanny's place of residence on the marriage certificate is given as Queens Head Yard, Oswestry and John's place of residence is Llanforda Parish of Oswestry.  I also have the death certificate for Fanny, who died on the sixteenth August 1990 aged 32.  The cause of death on the certificate says she died from failure of the action of the heart due to shock.  An inquest was held on the 17th August 1990.

If you have any information I would be extremely grateful.

My e mail address is *

Kind regards

Yvonne
