o'toole and adamsdown cardiff

I cannot find my o'toole ancestors in any censi, they lived in adamsdown in 1890's to well into 20th century. Does anybody know o'tooles from this area? Michael o'toole born ireland, fathered 8 children, patrick (my grandfather) born 1897 or 98. he and his siblings in the BMD index but not census, names are thomas, charles, francis, harold (went to hawaii), annie (became Tarr, went to canada), agnes, nellie (who married Dan MUrray).

I think they might be indexed as POOLE in 1901

Found in Roath, based on the birth of Agnes in 1900.

Oh thanks for looking that up, I dont check this too often, that explains why I cant find them, How did you think to look under Poole? That was excellent...

Often you can find mis-indexed people by leaving out one of the fields - so in this case the surname.  If you look at the original image, it is far from clear what it should say!
