Sorry Robert, I had some work to do the last few days.
I believe we are "barking up the same tree" and definitely wish to pursue further.
I don't know what happened with my email.  I believe I sent it in a "private message" through your Facebook page. 
Anyway, I have yours and will send you something so you will have it.  Let me put a few things together and I will get back to you fairly soon.

Am in The Gambia so not at my desk. Please circulate my assessment. Having reread Downing/Wilberforce. I share your concerns. Although Nathaniel seems to have died at Drumard, Maghera and to have been buried at Church Island, it does not necessarily follow that he was of an Irish Downing family. Had he been, then Adam might have made more of his Irish connection in the inscription of his mausoleum. When I return, I will speak to PRONI. Robert
