HERON KILKENNY

Looking for JANE HERON. She came from Kilkenny, married Julius Caesar BESNARD of Cork (sail cloth manu.) Possibly 1770. She is my 4x gt gm.  Interested in Heron family.

I'm new to this site.  I married a girl from Callan, Co.  Kilkenny who knows of 2 Heron ladies who lived in Callan  -  both probably deceased.  One was Charlotte and the other was called Gunnie /  Gunny.  The latter was a nurse.  Charlotte may have married a French man. 
Info is scant but it may give you a starting point.

Hi, I recall my Dad saying the Hearne's in Waterford came from the Herons in Callan Co Kilkenny..
