Hi Sandy. Regarding your Dix family history. It would appear that we are both decendants of William Dix and Martha Dawson from Northmoor.

I wonder if my late father William Norman may have contacted you at some time.

I would be really pleased to hear back from you.

Best wishes

Bryan

Hi Bryan
It was good to get your message. I never had contacted  with your father.Mary Dix (1902) was my grandmother . As a child i lived in Aston Tirrold and i did know Glady Dix (1901) who was married to John Henry Wheeler. I also lived next door to Reginald Dix born 1909. When there was a family get together there was a Faith Dix born 1904  - 1987 who was there.I am going to Turkey for three weeks on Monday but i will be in touch when i get back. I do have a tree on Genes Reunited. Best wishes Sandy

Hi
I am adding to this subject because i have been in touch with a member of the Wheeler family and he had told me, that he was told that the Dix family are related to the Pope family from Cholsey. I have not been able to find a link.

      On the 1871  census
Shadrach Wheeler born 1824 at East Hagbourne is living at Popes Farm Aston Tirrold

I think there were Popes living in Aston Tirrold but i am not getting anywhere Please Help

       Thank you Sandy
