Need help with these ancestors from Wigtown

James Maxwell in Wigtown married 29 Nov 1719 Ann Kyle or Mckie
Born 1694 died 17 Apr 1769 at Wigtown
Ann died 14 Apr 1769 aged 74 years

John Maxwall bp 16 Sept 1722 at Wigtown

Barbra Maxuel bp 30 Aug 1724 at Wigtown

William Maxwall bp 15 Sep 1726 at Wigtown

Sara [Sarah] Maxwell married at Leswalt 23 Jun 1748 to Hugh Mcilwraith of Auchinflower
Bp 10 Dec 1727 at Wigtown

James Maxwell bp 31 Jul 1730 at Wigtown

Looking for further info on these Maxwell's ancestors can anyone help?

Also can anyone look up the very long list of names (given by Wodrow Vol 14 page 490) whose properties were restored there appears besides Hugh Mcilwraith two more names of my ancestors, viz. Maxwell younger of Mowing, Mcilwraith of Auchinflower, George Mochrie feir of Stouring.

I need to confirm who the Maxwell ancestor is in the list I have not seen the original list but have already proven Mcilwraith lost his lands about 1685 so I assume Maxwell did to. But was was Maxwell's real name and is Mowing correct or Moristoun?

Any Help appreciated. This Maxwell family should connect to Maxwell of Monreith.

Mary Maxwell bp 12 Feb 1738 at Wigtown

Every child including Sara Maxwell named a son Alexander. I wonder if James Maxwell's (born abt 1694) father was named Alexander Maxwell and how do they connect to William Maxwell of Monrieth? 

Any help appreciated as I have hit a brick wall here trying to connect to Maxwell of Monreith.
