Hi CatOne

thanks for the information. It well be them.
They do have some very strange occupations
John the father has gone from lockeeper (i assume that was a canal lock keeper) to canal lab (which would be a canal labourer). I have him down in 1853 as a wevaer (off David's marrige certificate).

David in 1861 was an iron miner.

Would it be possible for you to look up 1861 to see where David's parents John and Jane were living and what occupation John had?

thanks you
regards

Forgot to say, in 1851 John's (age 45) birthplace is Llanguick and Jane's (age 41) is Llandybie

In 1861 -

Ann Thomas w 31 All born Llanguick
Thomas Llewelyn brother 29 "Roller-man" (tinworks)
David brother 28 Bargeman
Llewelyn brother 21 Behinder (tinworks forge)
Jennet sister 17 House serv
William brother 16 Picklers Attendant

RG9/4090 Folio 53 Page 4
Llanguick, Glamorgan

Wonder if the parents died and thats why they're all living together, can't find John and Jane yet.....
