I am still attempting after all this time to find this family --- it is probably too late now...

Couldn't put more details on here in case they are still living..... So really just seeing if
anyone can tell me best place to search..

Well -  he left UK circa 1962  and then married in South Africa and had 3 children... then moved on when things became unsettled...

But that really is all ... I know.. I do know his wife's name .. and his old UK address..

I think he left for New Zealand or Australia as I say later on.


its a faint hope I know....    but one can always hope :)

Oh ok, so there is a possiblity that he is still alive.  West is unfortunately a very common name here so may be difficult to trace without details, but can be difficult if still living.

You mentioned Rhodesia, did he live there as well?

I suggest you try posting your query on this website http://www.lind.org.zw/ as I used this site and it took 18 months but ended up tracing a lost relative.
