Scotston, Laurencekirk

Can anyone tell me where Scotston is in Laurencekirk.  I have just received a copy of the 1939 National register for my Gt Grandfather and it says Addtress Scotston, Laurencekirk, and that he was a farmer.

If you use google maps and search for Scotston, you will get your bearings Lynda  :)

This looks to be a picture of Lower Scotston Farm in Laurencekirk www.yourlocalweb.co.uk/images/pictures/12/32/lower-scotston-farm-121061.jpg  - I wonder if this is connected to your g grandfather?

This is the one that I could not find his birth certificate, finally got some clues today, yababdabadoooo

It has taken years and loads o money, but I think I am there with my William.  I am fairly sure that his grandson must have had his birth certificate when he registered his death for the name Bremner to have appeared on it.....now where Florence Smith fits in.......?
