portwood parish records stockport

Does anyone know where i can view the parish records for portwood/st pauls church stockport.im not sure where they would be as i know the church is no longer there and they are no photos of it,  please can anyone let me know.cos am stuck with my family history

Thankyou i clicked on the ling and it took me to a cheshire site and then went on further to find it saying it ceased in 2009 and is now brinnington,so am still no further forward to findind out where i can go to look at the parish records,but thanks for your help  kay21

Cheshire County Council was replaced in 2009 by Cheshire East and Cheshire West councils, but the records are still in the Cheshire Record Office in Chester:

Have you asked Stockport Library if they have a copy of the Parish registers?

Stockport local Heritage Archives have got bound books for marriages at St Paul, Portwood although one book is missing (vol 2 I think). Not sure about Bapt/Burials etc.

S..d's law that it will be, a lot of mine will be in it too.
If it's a marriage you are wanting at St Paul give me the details as I may get the chance to pop in the Library on Friday and I will try to find out what other records they have for the Church
