Info on Edith Gibbs (marries Ernest William Bowder in 1920)

There does not appear to be a marriage between Joseph Gibbs/Harriet Thompson

I think Joseph married Louisa Thompson in 1890 (and that Edith was born about eleven months later than originally stated).

The people that Edith was in Domestic Service for in Staffordshire, when she was 14, seemed to think that her first name was spelled Eadith.

She was with her parents in 1901, in Hartington

I think that's right - Joseph was married to Louisa.  The 1901 census sites that they lived in Hartington, information which was new to me.  My father remembers a tie to Longnor and Louisa was born in Longnor.  According to the birth city of the children, it seems as though they moved somewhere between 1892 and 1894.  This has to be right!!

I'm having trouble locating the 1890 marriage record for Joseph and Louisa.. I also saw the citation for her being a servant when she was 14, but couldn't be sure that she was my Edith Gibbs.

I found record that as Edith Charlesworth, she passed in Oct/Nov/Dec 1977 in High Peak, Derbyshire - which is consistent with the date my Granddad provided and my dad said she passed in Fairfield - which after a little google search, I now know is in High Peak.

The death entry in 1977 shows her birthday as 27th November 1896.
