I notice this has been here for sometime with no response.

May I suggest that firstly you contact Dorking Cemetary (just google) to see if these graves actually have headstones.

I live in Sth London and have in the past driven past this cemetary and I can tell you it is vast.

Fleming (Bristol) Fowler/Brain (Battersea/Bristol)    Simpson (Fulham/Clapham)  Harrison (W.London, Fulham, Clapham)  Earl & Butler  (Dublin,New Ross: Ireland)  Humphrey (All over mainly London) Hill (Reigate, Bletchingly, Redhill: Surrey)
Sell (Herts/Essex/W. London)

Hi
Was messing about on goggle and came across your message from 2 years ago!
Rupert and Joan Windley are my grandparents! Do you think you might somehow be related to them??

Doubt if any familial connection.  Was just offering a suggestion, had not noticed the age of post.

My Surrey connections are with Reigate/Bletchingly/Redhill (with one person appearing in Dorking).  But your surname does not appear.

Hi Peanut,

yes we are related!

My grandfather Frederick Jack Windley is a brother of your grandfather Rupert.
So their Father James William Windley is our mutual  gr-grandfather!
Do you have any information on the Windley's ? Is Susan your mother? I believe she did some research on the family tree. I would love to stay in contact and exchange information.

Kind regards

Yes my mother is Susan! Just spoke to her and she was aware of you I believe - think I met your late dad Jock at a great aunt and uncles party when I was a child - I've certainly heard him mentioned a few times! My brother Simon has been doing all the research into our family tree so I'm sure he'd only be to glad to help you out with any info he can! Mum is computer illiterate but shed like me to stay in contact - what's the best way to exchange email addresses as it says not to on this website??
