Robert Leslie FARQUHAR

This is the first time that I have used the Australian Board - I am looking for the birth of Robert Leslie Farquhar in the 1920s I have very little information other than I know he is deceased. He married Nancy Watson in the 1940s again this is all the information I have regarding the marriage. I believe in New South Wales any help would be very much appreciated.

There is a corresponding birth registration on:

There is a death recorded for 1968 for a Robert FARQUHAR with parents Robert and Eva.

unlike  the Uk births in Australia are not readily accessed for the period of time you are after.

However

on  the Electoral rolls from 1930 thru to 1949
 there is a Robert Leslie Farquhar
living 1930 at  17 McGowan Avenue Marrickville  as a Motor Mechanic, no other Farquhar at this address.

by 1943 he is still at  the same address but so is an Eva Clarice Farquhar home duties


The WW2 nominal Roll shows a Robert Leslie Farquhar born 1909 at St Peters NSW nok of Kin Nancy Farquhar

I think Dazey's post confirms the death of Robert in 1968 as his parent's initials match for their wedding notice as well as the death notice.

revelas that Eva Springett father Charles Kemp Springett was bborn in NSW in 1858 to Robert Coleman Springett and Augusta

A look at the Newspapers online has a bit on Robert Coleman Springett and in one article it reveals he was from Clapham Road London.
