Voss Edward 1794 Rugby Warwickshire

For the past 20 years I have been searching, collating families from IGI (as you do) and traveling hither and thither, to try to find my Gt, Gt, Gt grandfather`s parents.   I can`t find his parents.

Edward Voss b 1794 in Rugby,  married Elizabeth Pufitt in Monks Kirby 1813. The couple went to live in Rugby, in St Andrews parish and Edward died in 1844 in Rugby. Edward`s last appearance is on the 1841 census.

I can`t find Edwards birth record.

Surely Edward must be buried in Rugby somewhere?
Is he buried with his wife, one wonders?

Is anyone out there related to Edward Voss 1794 and Elizabeth Pufitt ?

Has anyone any idea how I can solve this parental mystery, apart from having DNA tests with Voss`s in Warwickshire.

Not helpful in response to your question, but an Arthur Benjamin Voss was in Rugby Warwickshire on 8th Nov 1886.  Is he 'one of your's?'

Edward Voss marriage to Elizabeth Puffit 5/11/1813 Monks Kirby. The OPR is on An….ty transcribed as Noss, Both signed X. Two witnesses signed, first names unclear but surname Puffit.

I note that they had 7 children between 1813 & 1833. There was also a Benjamin Voss & Elizabeth, they had 8 children in the period. They are on the 1841 census age 70 & 60 not born in the county, 6 children born in the County are present.
Benjamin is also on the 1861 transcribed Loss, he is 93 a widower, he was born  27/12/1775 West Haddon Northamptonshire. So it is unlikely that they were related unless the 1841 census for Edward denoting he was born in the county is wrong?

I cannot find a birth record for Edward but some family trees have his parents as
Edward Voss & Maria Ann Roberts but no records for them either?

St Dunstan & All Saints Stepney
Edward Voss of this Parish & Hamlet of MEOT widower
and
Maria Ann Roberts of this parish and the same Hamlet spinster
