Hi I saw your post on muir & sons Glasgow and think that I might also be a distant relative through the 2 Thomas Muirs. Any information you have would be very helpful! Thanks

There are more than two Thomas Muir's as I have since discovered based around Avondale in Lanarkshire and in Eaglesham in Renfrewshire as well as Glasgow and Edinburgh. There are many branches to the Muir's trees is there any particular area you are interested in most of my relatives seemed to have been married at St Cuthberts in Edinburgh. They also seemed to have large families one particular couple had 13 children?
