Ah - you are a Fletcher! There are a few of your cousins in touch with us. The PDF file on Augusta is 15 pages, not 44, created by Pattrick Mould.

Hi,
Thomas Fletcher and Elisabeth were my great great grandparents. I'd love to know more about Thomas and his family. My mother told me he was a mariner!

Hi SPMH

Yes, Thomas was a mariner.  He and Elizabeth had 16 (possibly 17) children as far as I can find. Thomas was my great great uncle.  I do have quite a bit of information about them which I'm happy to share.   Which of the children do you "belong to?"  ;D

Hi,

Thomas Fletcher
Daughter Ronella Jane Fletcher (Little Granny)
Daughter Jessie Ronella Roberts (Granny)
Daughter Olga Adeline Steele
Me

I have a lot of information backwards from Little Granny (she was smaller than granny!) but nothing about Thomas Fletcher and his family. It would be wonderful if you could fill me in backwards from him.

My mothers family lived north of Liverpool, but my generation has scattered around the world. My husband and I live near Cheltenham .

Hi

I'll PM you the family as its going a bit off track for the thread, but Thomas and the Fletchers were Liverpool and then the generation back were from Rufford, Lancashire.

Thomas was one of 13 so probably no surprise he had so many kids!  My information about Ronella's  siblings is patchy in places but will PM you know  :)

krisesjoint, If Samuel James Theodore Thicknesse married Sarah Ann Thurston after the death of Emily, when Sarah was widowed by Samuel, she may have married by GG Grandfather, John Everett in 1889 in Newcastle New South Wales.

Although I have a marriage certificate of this event, I'd love to know if they are one and the same people.  If so they went on to have three children themselves.

And coincidentally, my father's aunt (Nellie Jennings) married a Smallwood around 1909
