John T Ward - possible immigrant in 1870s
« on: Thursday 14 October 10 20:19 BST (UK) »
John Thomas Ward [b.19/09/1853 Manchester] and Elizabeth Ann Goldsmith [b.circa 1854 Saford] married at St Simon's, Salford, Lancashire, England on 11/07/1871. (Ages erroneously recorded as 19 & 17 respectively).

No trace on subsequent census records suggest they might have emigrated [prior 1881] but if so where?   Fancy either Canada or USA the most likely but admit it's a guess.
So, a hopeful shot in the dark; If anyone has the means, the know-how and inclination, to search immigration records for the period I would be most grateful.
