Kathleen (Kitty) Gaunt

Anyone out there who has knowledge of Kathleen (Kitty) Gaunt who was born approximately 1894 and died in 1959 in Spain (Catalonia region)? She had a child, Lythia Rose Martin who was re-registered as Lythia Rose Gaunt after 2 years (due to abandonment by the Father) and married a Spaniard, Jose Torras. Lythia Rose was about 14 at the time of the marriage and went with her mother to Spain, remaining there, and eventually marrying *. I know there was at least one child from this marriage, *. I would love contact with anyone who has knowledge of, or a relationship to, these people. Lythia was my Dad's unknown half-sister. Thanks.

Try looking perhaps at phone book records to find relatives - you will note that Spanish phone books ask for two surnames, so for Jose that would have been Torras (father's name) Buxeda (mother's name).

So for example (as I understand it) note that any children of Alfonso and Lythia Rose would be not listed under Zamudio but as Paredes Torras.

First of all, my apologies for the wrong approach in my post. I thought by asking if there was anyone out there who was related to, or knew of, it would further my research. I do apologise again. I'm afraid I've done the same thing with a second post.

Secondly, thanks very much for the links from Jorose. I do have those links (mostly obituaries) already but am grateful you've taken the trouble to find them for me. What I didn't know was the listing of Spanish phone books - i.e., that ** would be ** Paredes Torras. That should be quite useful. I'm always grateful to receive help/advice/tips as something new often comes out from them. My thanks again.
