Harriet HILL Hobart Town Tasmania

I am trynig to find any information about a Harriet HILL who was Born on the passage from England to Tasmania as written on her marriage certificate  her parents were John HILL and Eliza BANK / BANKS.

 Harriet married in Geelong aged 17years to a John Wright DARE
If anyone is able to help that would be much appreciated.

There  is a birth in Tasmania

Childs name is not recorded born 14/5/1846 father John Hill mother Eliza Banks at hobart reg no 1749/1846

so  the couple were still having children in Tasmania


I note  the marriage was in 1858Jenn

Thanks for your info. Sorry it is a bit late but have been away.
I noted that the marriage was in 1858 as you mentioned when I checked a child that was born and it had the parents marriage year as 1858 which I did not have before.

Hiya,

Harriet Eliza Hill and John Wright Dare are my great grandparents.

Their son, my grandpa James Dare married Taresa Mattei (my granma).

Their daughter, my mum Marguerita Dare married Thomas (Jim) Mullen.

I have considerable family history of the Dare's thanks to my cousin Kel Dare who is/was the Dare genealogist. Kel is now in very advanced years and very limited in his IT skills.   

So, I haven't included much info here 'cos I don't know how much you now have etc.

Sorry to be a bit late in replying but have deen having computer problems so it maybe a new one to get.
thank you for your letter and I only have the children of John Dare and Harriet Hill from what has been sent on here and checking the Births registers info.
It would be great to get any info that you have and for which I do appericate very much.
