I spent some time trying to find a Birth Regn of the lad Ivor Thomas Dallimore - also tried just forenames in that part of Wales as he was born before their marriage. Coupled with not apparently being on the last census, he's a real mystery!

Yes, likewise with Ernest George, a letter dated 1921 which was enclosed with his service records indicate that the Records Office, Shrewsbury were trying to locate him at a particular address only to be told by the local British Legion he had moved from the said address 4 years previous and nothing heard of him since ??? I wonder could he have emigrated ???

This is a long shot as the post was added so long ago but I believe I know what happened to Ernest. I believe he is my father’s grandfather. Are you able to send me a private message for information. I believe I have information on Ivor to. Thank you
