George DASHWOOD m Harriet SMITH 1814 Hardingham

Hi Am looking for the parents of this George who had 5 children baptised at St Michael Moulton and another 6 at Pulham Market between 1815 and 1830.  His son Henry James is m Catherine Humphrey Norwich 1855.

I think George's parents were Jarrett Dashwood and Mary Hammond or Hammont, but the only evidence I have is that George named his first child Edward Hammont when he was baptised in 1815.

Any further info gratefully received!

George Dashwood of Moulton, single man = Harriett Smith otp, single woman with consent of parents 15/12/1814
witnesses: Charlotte Bayley; james Smith

unfortunatly the father is not given as a witness for George but we now know he comes from Moulton.

only Hammond:
Samuel Vere Dashwood = Carolind Hammond 23/10/1828 Eccles.


Where does Mary Jarrett fit in please - is that her maiden or married name?

Hi jarrett dashwood was the son of Richard dashwood who married Mary Jarrett 1697, jarrett had a number of siblings Inc,

Mary 1704

George 1703

Elizabeth 1708


I am pretty sure they are from the same family
