Hi everyone - I was sitting talking to an elderly friend about her Great grandmother - Jemima Hoey - and we came across these posts.  She was fascinated to hear all the additional information.  Her great grandmother set up an infant school in Wanganui in 1880 and taught there for 27 years.   Her name is Janet Fenwicke (Russell).  She is 90 this year

Hi There - can anyone tell me please how many children Jemima Nena and Thomas Hoey had?   How many went to Wanganui with Jemima?

I am trying to find out a bit more information about Jemima McBeath (Mrs Hoey) who came to Wanganui New Zealand.   She is the great aunt of my 90 year old friend
