Mary Annie E Jewell nee Joyce

All I know about this lady is that she is listed on CWGC as the wife of Charles Jewell (b. 1875 St Helier ) who died in 1916 -  I think he was in the Army but where -  I don't know.....??
Any help would be much appreciated

I have found 3 Joyces in the archives -  but I can't find anything on IGI
I found 1 family of Joyce on 1841 (after getting segs on my eyeballs .....! ) but no Mary Annie of course - because that's too early ....
So please could somebody look up 1881-1891-1901

Mary Annie E Joyce was born Dec 1873 in Edmonton London ( no proper date yet )
married Charles John Louis Jewell in Mar 1904 in Mile End London ( no proper date yet ) but it's a start!

Eliza , wife born c 1842 kings Malden,Hertfordshire

Daughters Edith born c 1875 Southgate Middlesex. Louisa Joyce born c 1870 Winchmore Hill Middlesex, Mary Ann born c1868 Southgate, Rosie born c 1872 Southgate.

Sons John born c 1880 Southgate and William born c 1867 Isleworth

Where have you been? I have been up days and nights looking for this woman -  and you just pop up out of nowhere with the correct answer - I don't believe you....!!!!!!!!!!Thank you thank you.... I've been on the London board looking too - but you have her born 1868 - did she lie to my relative about her age ? 'cos he was born 1875 - I guess it's a family thing all my guys seem to like older women..............

Hello again Annie,
Just as well I have Middlesex data in my collection, Mary Ann is still single in 1891 living with the family at 8 Orchard Cottage Chase Rd, Edmonton and a housemaid. If you would like the census refs for 81/91 let me know and I will p.m. to you.

I will also check out 1901 for you.

As for myself have been just somwhat disheartened with my own family search as not geting any where with requests etc but this is part of  this passion  so I have been somewhat quiet!!!

I am doing much better with other peoples queries and I have been following your posts with interest.

You have spoilt me by giving me such wonderful information - you and Michael both - that I have so much stuff and I want go much further and I can't do it with my resources -  then I get frustrated 'cos my mind works faster than I can go.... and on and on ... !!!
I'm so jealous you're there - I'd be at the archives every day....! ( talk about addictive personality huh...??!! ) I've been going through the archives and finding all kinds of wonderful stuff sometimes it had nothing to do with me but it 's just been so fascinating - I wish I could help you too if you find you have Yankee stuff please let me know OK
