Photographic studios

I am unable to find this on here but I know I got the info a couple of years ago and saved it somewhere save - you know how it is so safe that I now can't find it! There is a website somewhere that contains the names of photographic/postcard studios etc, the dates they were in business and where abouts in the UK. If anyone could help me out I would be most grateful. Thanks

There are quite a few, 32...which area of the UK were you interested in?
Is it photographers you want info about, or are you trying to date some photos?

No luck with finding the Studio.
Which board would be best to post the photo on? It has a chap in uniform on it. I would like to know what the approx age of the men in it are anything else that could help date it.
