Lookup request - info on Elizabeth Morris marriage to Maurice Blower

Hi - newbie here. I'm looking for information about the marriage of Maurice Blower (b. 8 MAR 1855 Cefn Mawr, Denbighshire, N. Wales) to Elizabeth Morris. Looking for info about their children (Edith, John, Jennie, ?,?) also. This was his first wife. Did they divorce? Did she die? Did she remarry? Any info or a point in the right direction appreciated! Thanks!

Are we talking here about a "Morris" Blower who appears as married to a Catherine in Pennsylvania USA in the 1900 census with children Emlyn and Arthur?

Yes! Morris/Maurice Blower is my great grandfather. My grandfather is Emlyn.  I have Morris/Maurice Blower entire history back to John Blower (b. 31 AUG 1823 Cefn Maur).

I'm fuzzy on Morris/Maurice Blower first wife and kids. Wondering who she is and what happened to her and the kids.

Thanks for finding this info!

A family member gave me the name Elizabeth Morris. But I am not certain that name is correct. I have no additional info for her or the children. What does this marriage record mean? (Sorry - I'm new to this.)  Does this show that her name was actually Elizabeth Evans? Who is Elizabeth Jones and John Jones? Thanks!

Well it could be that Maurice emigrated on the Wyoming to New York arriving on December 1884.The only others I can find in the passenger list are mother Jane and sister Frances.The 1890 Census would have answered your questions perhaps but it is missing.It appears Jane could be a Jane Edwards,the only possible John/Jane Blower marriage I could find was one given as a Wrexham Civil Marriage in 1847 on the North Wales BMD Website.

Suzard gave what many of the early marriage records look like over her.You often have a choice of spouses and its a case of matching them up.

Hello!  I, too, have been conducting genealogy research on Maurice Blower.  He's my greatgrandfather!  The information I have collected shows 2 sons: Emlyn and Arthur.  Arthur E. is my grandfather.  The earliest record I have of Maurice is a 1900 Census.  Maurice married Catherine Roberts approx. 1893.
