EVAN DANIEL -B 1811 LLANDEFAELOG
« on: Tuesday 14 June 11 05:03 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I need help to find parents of Evan Daniel, born 1811 in Llandefaelog.  I think the baptism records
of St Maelog in Llandefaelog would be the place to check.  Unfortunately online records have not come up with anything.

The family went to LLanelly after this date.

Thanks so much
Debbie

well, he doesn't seem to be in the extracted IGI batch for the pairsh church. Could his family have been non-conformist? There's a Calvinistic Methodist Church & Penygraig Independent as possbles. Penygraig baptisms are at the National Library in Aberystwyth.

Do you know which part of Llanelli they moved to? Llwyncrwn is in Pontiets (Pontyates). Sometimes children are named after the Grandparents so did Evan name his older children William and Anne?
