My husbands family came from Italy to London lived in this area - from the information i have gathered i see that it was a great community with St Peter's being its church - where were the local schools? Any information would be gratefully recieved

h lisa d,

for now the best reference is to google clerkenwell and select wikipeda.

that gives a good historical perspective of the area.
