Hi John,
In a previous message, you mentioned a Benyon that came over as a convict. Would you be referring to -
Edward Benyon who came to Australia in 1818 on Lord Sidmouth and married Ann Leonard?
If so, I also come from that branch. I am very keen on finding his parents but no luck so far. I have found newspaper articles etc on his trial and crime but I cannot find any records of his age, birth place etc. Have you had better luck?
