Lookup request for John Turner, Pontesbury Shrops. 1861

[Salopian]

I would like to know if possible how many other people were in the house & what was the address of the household. I have:

Pontesbury, Shropshire. Hale Hurst (can anyone tell me where that was)?
John Turner aged 37, Widower Miner in Coal
Jane dau aged 11 B. Westbury
Elizabeth Blaney aged 28, servant.

John & Elizabeth were my gggrandparents.

I'm not sure where your info has come from
but this is the onyl 1861 entry I can find that even vaguely matches any of it!  It has Elizabeth Blaney, and  a John Turner, but he is obviously a different person to what you have ....

Thank you for your quick responses..
I found Elizabeth Blaney living in Pontesbury in the 1861 census. She was servant. 
I also found a marriage to John Turner and Elizabeth Blaney (B.1833 Pentre'r Beirdd), in the Dec Qtr of 1861. In Jan she had a son Thomas, my ggrandfather.
Now Im confused, as I assumed she was in the same household as John Turner the widower...but obviously not. She was in the other
I have sent off for my ggrandfathers birth certificate, he was listed as born in Westbury, Shrop.
I found all that info at 3.30am this morning...so I appreciate your help.

Yes Liz...that's right, I have this... as John died when Thomas was young, and Elizabeth remarried to John Griffiths. Before the 1881 Census, Elizabeth had also died. I wondered what happened to Elizabeth Turner the daughter, as I dont remember anyone mentioning her in my family. My GGrandfather Thomas christened me, as he was a lay preacher with the Primitive Methodist Church.
I will know more, hopefully, when I get his birth certificate.
Its odd that they had two daughters with the same name, Elizabeth...

On the actual Birth Records it looks like the last two children George and Elizabeth were twins. The ages are 3 and 3.

I hope the occupation on Thomas's birth cert for his father clears this up.
Otherwise it would be a wise move to get the marriage cert of John to ELizabeth Blaney - to see a) what occupation b) what age, c) what address and d) whether he was a widower.
That would clear up which John Turner married Elizabeth for definite!

From the Family Bible, which my cousins have in the UK, it says he lost his father at an early age, his mother remarried, and he worked on a farm from the age of 8. His father was a Painter, at some stage, so I might have to get his marriage certificate as well. He married in 1884 to Mary Ann Pountain.
