re earlier post, it's Frederick's sausage skin making business that's near the Cattle Market in Dyvatty St. The Smithfield is at the corner of Graig St and Dyfatty St.

Thanks for that - Very interesting and slightly amusing to see some of the articles. Sounds like my Great Grandfather had a bit of a rouch pub. I still haven't managed to track down any photographs which is a shame.

Thanks - Look forward to seeing it. I assume Oscar was Arnold Roths father. There is a bit of a gap around that whole area of my family. The Grandfather, Arnold only refered to him as Dad in any of his diaries so I'm not sure.
