Hello there,

I am wondering if anyone can locate the birth of John Green Simpson Balloch, born c1920 and Mary Crosbi Allan, born c1923 in the Canongate/ Leith,Midlothian area please.

Both are now deceased.

There is nobody registered on SP with these names around those dates.

There is a John Balloch b.1925 in Midlothian, and quite a few Mary Allans.

I know they married c1945 and were living in Leith/Canongate but little else.

Hopefully someone will be along soon who is also researching this side of the family
