I am researching the Lomas family from Ashton-under-lyne.
My grandmother Lillian Lomas nee Ellis born 1908 and Grandfather  William lomas born 1908
I have a marriage cert of Samuel and Nellie Cullen married Oct 29Th 1904.. Sams father is William and Nellie's father is Charles.
Can some one please help me to find out how many brothers and sister Samuel  and Nellie had.

I have only just started this interest so I am a Little lost with it all.... I tried to do a small search in 2005 but then i have had other things to do ....
All i know is My grandfather married my grandmother in 1927and they were both 18.. William Lomas lived at Ellison st, and lillian Ellis lived at church street.. As i have said above i have a marriage certificate for Samuel and Nellie (Cullen) Oct 1904.
Samuel lived at furnace street and Nellie lived at Skye street.. if this may help

The marriage took place Oct 1904 to Samuel and Nellie.. The fathers names on the marriage certificate are William Lomas and Charles Cullen

In answer to your oiginal post:

You would have to check the births and death indexes to find the siblings, as well as the censuses - This would prove costly, as at the moment the only sure way is to purchase copies of the certificates.
