Dublin birth

I have an ancestor born in Dublin in 1845 (according to his marriage and Liverpool census information).  Can any kind person suggest how I can go about searching for his birth information.  Thanks.

Hi Bill
        The Church of Latter Day Saints have a lot of Dublin parish records on film that you can order at your local Family History Centre.
If you explore the link it will give details of there catalogue
